🌿 My Visit: A Quiet Morning at Jeju Library
I arrived at Jeju Library around 9:00 AM, hoping to borrow “The Real Story of Agricultural Economics”. As soon as I stepped in, the bright, spacious interior with floor-to-ceiling windows caught my eye. After picking up my reserved book, I noticed a small park just outside the library, with neatly paved walking paths and benches under tall trees.
It felt like the perfect spot for a slow, mindful walk after reading. Some visitors were already enjoying their morning coffee while strolling along the shaded paths, giving the place a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Inside, the diversity of visitors stood out—students studying for exams, retirees flipping through newspapers, and parents with their kids in Byeol-i Naerineun Sup (Children’s Library). Despite the crowd, the library remained quiet and orderly, a true public space for reflection and connection.
Even though it was early, the parking lot was already full, showing how popular the library is among locals. The extended hours make it easy to visit anytime, and with plenty of cozy seating areas, it’s a great spot to spend a leisurely afternoon.
If you’re looking for a place to read, relax, or simply take a peaceful walk surrounded by books and nature, Jeju Library is a must-visit!
More to Come!
I’ll be visiting Jeju Library every weekend to explore more of its facilities and programs. In the next post, I’ll share photos and details of Byeol-i Naerineun Sup, the children’s library! 😊
